January 2018 TBR

Happy New Year, my loves! I can’t believe it is the first of 2018! But I wish you guys all the love, happiness, health, support, warmth, and good books for this year. Again, I’m so very thankful for the kindness and friendship you all showed me in 2017, and I can’t wait to see what this year will bring. But let me show you guys everything that I plan on reading in the very first month of 2018!

The Secret History by Donna Tartt:
Me and Paloma decided to make this the first thing both of us will read in 2018! And honestly, I can’t think of a better way to bring in the new year! So excited for this beloved book, and I have nothing but high hopes for it!

The Lucky Ones by Tiffany Reisz:
I received an ARC of this, and I’m so very excited to read it before release! I have really enjoyed everything I’ve read from Tiffany Reisz, and I can’t wait to see her take on a more dark and thrilling tale. Also, after my December reading slump, I want all the romance books stat! This releases on February 13th, 2018!

Reign of the Fallen (Reign of the Fallen #1) by Sarah Glenn Marsh:
Let me just preface this by saying that I will commit a minor felony for books about queer necromancers. So, I have very high hopes for this book! Also, I am so thankful that Elise sent me a copy of this ARC and I can’t wait to read it before release! This comes out on January 23rd, 2018!

Art of War: Anthology for Charity edited by Petros Triantafyllou:
This is a short story collection by some of the best Adult Fantasy authors I’ve had the pleasure of reading! One of the biggest loves of my life, Mary, sent me and ARC of this and I cannot wait to read this anthology! Also, all proceeds will go to MSF, so how could I resist reviewing this before its release on February 13th, 2018!

Saga, Vol. 8 (Saga #8) by Brian K. Vaughan & Fiona Staples:
I’ve been a long time lover of Saga, and I know I won’t be able to resist the latest installment of this SFF graphic novel when it drops tomorrow! Even if the cover leaves a lot of be desired to say the least! And everyone is telling me that the latest issue (#48) is the cutest shit they’ve ever read, so I have extremely high hopes that this will get me by until Volume 9!

Moonlight Sins (de Vincent #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout:
This will be my very first Jennifer L. Armentrout book… ever! I know, I know, blasphemy, right? I’m not really sure what to expect with this one, but I know it’s the first book in a new series by her. And it releases on January 30th, 2018! And again, please NA Romance, get me out of this reading funk!

Missing From Me (Sixth Street Bands #3) by Jayne Frost:
So, I’m truly all about all the NA Romance that I think my body needs to get me out of this holiday reading slump… My friend, Maria, asked me to read this and provided me with an ARC like the sweetheart she is! I couldn’t resist and I’m excited to read this second chance romance about a musician.

Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi:
This is one of the books I’m most looking forward to in 2018! I feel like this is the YA Fantasy I’ve been waiting for my entire life! And I’m pretty sure I’m going to buddy read this with the beautiful Adri from Little Fox and Reads, and I know it’s going to make the reading experience 100 times even better! Also, I am so blessed to have received an ARC of this. The publication date for this title is March 6th, 2018!

Hopefully January starts off amazing and I end up enjoying all of these reads! I hope you all have an amazing start to the new year, too! Happy reading, lovelies! ❄⛄

  1. Children of Blood and Bone is also on my TBR list. Seemed really interesting. I was not so lucky and I’ll wait for it to be published.
