Hello, friends! I know we’ve hinted a few times on social medial, but it is finally time to make an official announcement: Me and Amy are hosting a book club together in 2019! We are really going to focus on marginalized voices, preferably ownvoices, and boosting marginalized books! And we would be so honored if you all joined us in this new endeavor, and we are so very excited!

Moving forward in 2019, we will announce the book pick by the 15th of each month prior to the actual reading month! (Example: We will announce the February book by or before January 15th!)

And we hope that you all will join us in our Goodreads Group, too! 🐉☕

But we also will be celebrating and talking with you all on Twitter and Instagram using the (hashtag) #DragonsAndTeaBookClub!

But without further ado, our January pick is:

  13. Awh this sounds so amazing, and totally digging the book club name! I’d love to join…but I don’t know if I could read 60 pages in a day 😔 I barely read 30 pages because I work full time and I’m a mom to an infant. 😬

    1. I completely understand, Rosie! I will say that this book is formatting differently, that’s why we didn’t feel bad making the buddy read so condensed! But I so understand, and I’m wishing you and your little family the happiest of holidays, and i promise that Feb’s pick will be more spaced! 💖xx

  23. That’s a great idea!! I don’t know though if I’ll be able to participate in any of the reads, since I’m really bad with sticking to books that are picked beforehand haha. I always pick up a book that I choose ‘in the moment’ because my mood switches soooo fast. I hope that you’ll have lots of participants and maybe I’ll participate with a book or two if I have a particular book from your book-list on my shelves 🙂
