This is another OwlCrate book that I haven’t read! But I’ve actually heard really good things about this one, so I feel on the fence! Have you all read this? Did you enjoy?

My wonderful friend sent this to me, and I’m so damn thankful so I’ll keep it on my bookshelves forever, just in case! But I don’t think this looks or sounds like a book for me, sadly.
Verdict: Delete ❌
➽ The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt
The Secret History was the first thing I read this year, and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. I can’t wait to try something else out by Donna Tartt.
Verdict: Keep ✅
➽ The Queens of Innis Learby Tessa Gratton
My face when I wrote this post up last month before I picked this up with some of my amazing friends. I ended up loving this one and even giving it five stars! 🙈

➽ Flow (Grip 0.5) by Kennedy Ryan
I’m here for this one, and I’m hyped for this one! I read another book by Kennedy Ryan early this year and I loved it! I can’t wait to find the time to pick this up!

➽ Moon-Bright Tides (Lunar Requiem, #1) by RoAnna Sylver
I believe I got this for free last year from the author. And it’s supposed to be super queer, so I really need to read this one! And I hope to love it!

I’ve never heard of any of these except for The Goldfinch. The Secret History was amazing, so I will probably add this to my TBR!

The Queen of Innis Lear was a hard book for me to get into. I’d give that one a pass. The Goldfinch however was awesome!
I don’t know about any of the other books tho sorry.

I hope you like The Goldfinch when you get around to reading it. I really love that book. I remember clicking one of those “read the first chapter” things when it first came out just to see on my kindle and immediately hitting purchase when I got to the end of the chapter! I was hooked. It definitely feels like a modern Dickens novel, at least to me. 🙂

I’m interested to see your review/thoughts on The Goldfinch because though I didn’t enjoy it, I heard so many great things about Secret History so I’m willing to try that one instead. Amazing picks!

I’ve heard that people either LOVE the secret history and hate the Goldfinch or it is the other way around… and i loved the Secret History…. so I’m scared! Hahahaha! But I will keep you updated! I really hope to get to it in 2019! 💖xx
