January 2018 Book Haul

I’ll be honest, I didn’t even realize I accumulated so many books until I started piecing this blog post together. Like, I’m not sure what happened, but here we are with too many books! I blame me wanting to use my Audible credits up, and then canceling my membership until I force myself to read those books. Or maybe it was because Netgalley actually had some 10/10 books I’ve been wanting to read. But it’s probably just because I lack self-control, but books make me happy and I won’t apologize for it! Plus, you guys get to read this totally unnecessarily long intro to a totally unnecessarily long book haul! (Friendly reminder that I love you all so much!) 💕

The Wall of Storms | The Goldfinch | Iron Gold | The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo | The Cruel Prince | Beneath the Sugar Sky | Reign of the Fallen | The Song of Achilles | A Winkle in Time | Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone

American Queen | Flow | The Black Tides of Heaven

Iron Gold | The Diviners | Renegades | The Collapsing Empire

Bad Romance | Spindle Fire | The Paper Menagerie | City of Bones | The Last Call at the Nightshade Lounge | River of Teeth | Roar | One Blood Ruby | Certain Dark Things | And I Darken

Child of a Mad God | With Blood upon the Sand | Lost For You | The Heart Forger

Circe | The Queens of Innis Lear | Sky in the Deep | Hidden Seams

The Cruel Prince

Well, there you have it! Maybe it just looks worse than it really is? Hopefully! Maybe? I don’t know. But I hope you guys enjoyed, and we will soon find out if February is better or worse. I mean, depending on how you look at books hauls, it will be either way! Haha! Happy reading, guys! And I hope you all had an amazing January that was filled with good books!

December 2017 Book Haul

Hey, lovelies! I hope you all had an amazing holiday season! At this point, I honestly need to buy another bookshelf! My four are probably going to collapse at any given moment, and my closet is starting to look like its own little library. But I am so very thankful, blessed, and privileged to receive all of these books, and I will cherish every single one always. I hope you guys received some good books for the holidays! And happy reading, always!

October 2017 Book Haul

Okay, so I went a little overboard in October! For one, Tor was super kind (like always) and sent me an amazing package with four very anticipated titles! Then, I went to the Goodreads Power User Summit and they were constantly trying to get you to take their books, so a few ended up in my hands and have now set up home in my library! And then the special editions of my favorites books keep coming out! And how can I say no to anniversary editions of my favorite books? Answer: I can’t! I simply can’t! So, I hope you all enjoy this October book haul and don’t judge me too much! 🍂🎃💛

The Lucky Ones | The Hazel Wood | Ruin of Angels | The Red Threads of Fortune
| The Armored Saint | Beneath the Sugar Sky

Into the Drowning Deep

The Girl in the Tower | Weaver’s Lament

August 2017 Book Haul

Hey, guys! I hope you all had an amazing August! I’ve received a lot, a lot of ARCs. Like, I’ve received borderline too many ARCs! I also bought a few ebooks while they were on sale. August 27th was my birthday, so I’m hauling everything from that, too, but expect even more in September once I fly back home to Vegas. But here is everything I have with me in Michigan right now! Enjoy!

Wild Beauty | All the Crooked Saints | Jane, Unlimited

The Dark of the Moon | Black Bird of the Gallows | 27 Hours

Dread Nation | Heart of Iron | Ever the Brave
Three Sides of a Heart | The Bloodprint | They Both Die at the End

Raven’s Mark | The Abyss Surrounds Us | The Air He Breathes

The Essex Serpent

It’s kind of a family tradition; each year on me or my loved ones’ birthdays, we always go to a bookstore and pick out a book and then write inside of it for a memory. This year, I picked out The Essex Serpent by Sarah Perry.

Wonder Woman: Warbringer

I am such a sucker of anything Leigh Bardugo, and I always want to support her! So, even though I had already prepurchased the Waterstones special edition of Wonder Woman: Warbringer (DC Icons #1), I still went to Flint’s Barnes & Noble on August 28th to buy the American edition upon release.

Stardew Valley Guidebook

One of my best friends of all time, Cory, gifted me this for my birthday! It was such a thoughtful and kind gift, because it incorporates my two favorite things: books and video games! SDV was probably my favorite video game release of 2016! And me and him have loved playing it and talking to each other about it. We cannot wait for multiplayer to be implemented, so me and him can binge play it while creating the best farms of any town, anywhere!

Okay, I think that’s everything! I expect September to be way more crazy, once I’m finally home and can open all the book mail waiting for me! August was still too big, especially with ARCs, but I am so thankful for everything I received!

July 2017 Book Haul

I went a little overboard this month on buying books. I normally don’t post book hauls, in fact this is my first ever on my blog, but with this many books I just couldn’t resist sharing with you guys! You all know I love making lists, so I’m going to try to break down all the books I received in the month of July to make this a somewhat cohesive post! I hope you all enjoy!

Because You Love to Hate Me | Wintersong | The Bronze Horseman | Tatiana and Alexander | The Summer Garden | Blackbringer

Yeah, I went a little too wild. I just fell so deeply in love with The Bronze Horseman this month, I had to own the entire trilogy. Because You Love to Hate Me was a must read on my 2017 releases list. One day, the book gods were smiling upon me and I found a brand new copy of Laini Taylor’s Blackbringer (Faeries of Dreamdark #1) for cheap on Amazon’s Marketplace! And Wintersong was just because I received a bookish candle themed from it. Yes, this is how my book obsessed self rationalizes this purchase.

Atheists Who Kneel and Pray | Punk 57 | Corrupt | Trickery

Nothing in this world was going to keep me away from a new Tarryn Fisher book, and once it released I completely ignored my TBR for 24 hours so I could inhale read it. I’ve wanted to read Penelope Douglas for quite some time now, and all I’ve been truly craving this summer is erotic romances, so I finally took the plunge and bought Punk 57 and Corrupt by her, and absolutely loved them both this month! Then I had to pick up Trickery (Curse of the Gods Book 1) just because my friend told me it had a male harem in it, and how in the hell could I possibly resist that key phrase?

Windwitch | My Lady Jane | The Smell of Other People’s Houses | The Weight of Feathers | When the Moon Was Ours | A Great and Terrible Beauty | Bellagrand | The Hating Game

Book Outlet is my kryptonite, I swear. I can’t even begin to justify all of this, no matter how hard I try. I did purchase The Weight of Feathers and When the Moon Was Ours, because everyone is reading Wild Beauty by Anna-Marie McLemore and they keep recommending her writing style to me. So when I saw her two other books on Book Outlet I had to pick them up! The Hating Game I already read and loved. Bellagrand is just to help enable my The Bronze Horseman addiction. My Lady Jane is because every BookTuber seems obsessed with it. The Smell of Other People’s Houses is because it might be my favorite cover and book title of all time. The rest? Just a hot mess that I probably shouldn’t have bought.

Strange the Dreamer

I can’t stop thinking about Strange the Dreamer, so I also couldn’t resist picking up the beautiful UK edition from Book Depository this month.

An Enchantment of Ravens

I read and reviewed this in July and absolutely loved it! Seriously, give me all the fae books! Thank you so very much, Simon and Schuster!

The City of Brass | Blackwing | Age of Assassins

These three beauties came inside my mailbox this week! I’m currently reading and loving Blackwing! I can’t wait to pick up Age of Assassins and The City of Brass very soon! Thank you so much, Orbit, Harper Voyager, and Ace Books!

The Stone Sky

This beauty just came in the mail today! I cannot believe how blessed I am to receive this, and I cannot wait to finish this amazing trilogy in August! Thank you so much, Orbit!

The Red | Bad Reputation

I love Tiffany Reisz, so I had to request an ARC of her new book when I saw it on Netgalley. I was so thankful to be approved, and even happy to have really enjoyed it! I’ve never read anything by Nicole Edwards before, but I was instantly hooked from the synopsis of Bad Reputation and couldn’t resist requesting it, especially with this erotic romance craving I’ve been having!

Okay, I think that’s everything! Like I said, I went a little overboard, but I truly am happy with my purchases and all of my ARCs! I can’t wait to read and review the things I haven’t yet and I think this amount of books will last me for at least a little while. But, if I’m being honest with myself, August is my birthday month, so I wouldn’t be surprised if I surpassed this next month, too! Happy reading!
