Hello, my loves! Right now, as you are reading this, I am at BlizzCon 2018 in Anaheim, California! So, I’m sorry if I don’t reply back until I get home in a few days! But I promise I’m taking a bunch of pictures, and probably updating my story a lot on Bookstagram! But I have so many amazing reads planned for this November, and I can’t wait to share them with you all! 🍁✨
➽ Lady Midnight (The Dark Artifices #1) by Cassandra Clare 🌙
This is actually one of two books I brought with me to California! And how cute is it that I’m going to be reading this while in LA? Like, it’s the little things, friends! And the experience is going to be even more blessed, because I’m reading this one with one of my best friends in the entire world, Lilly from Lair of Books!
➽ Lord of Shadows (The Dark Artifices #2) by Cassandra Clare 💫
And I can’t wait to read this second book, so that I can finally be up to date in time for the release of Queen of Air and Darkness! Friends, it has been a damn journey reading every single book by Cassie Clare this year, but I had so much fun doing it! I’m honestly not ready for it to be over!
➽ Skyward by Brandon Sanderson 🚀
This book comes out November 6th, and I have no chill and will read it immediately upon release! (And probably as soon as I get home from California! I mean, if the B&N shipping gods treat me kindly!) And I’m so dang excited! How to Train Your Dragon but with spaceships? Yeah, that sounds like everything I’ve ever wanted!
➽ Jane Steele by Lyndsay Fay 🔪
This is one of the last books on my “must read of 2018” list, and it’s the one I honestly was always most excited for. This is one of the brightest lights in the book community’s favorite book (Joce, I love you!) and I have the highest of hopes! I’m also buddy reading this one with my dear friend Destiny!
➽ The Queens of Innis Lear by Tessa Gratton 👑
So far, my favorite book of the year is Strange Grace by Tessa Gratton, so I couldn’t let her other 2018 release pass me by! I’m also buddy reading this one with so many people who I love in the community! And I can’t believe how lucky I am to not only have these friendships, but to hopefully read this amazing book with them!
➽ Enchantée by Gita Trelease 🇫🇷
ARC | Releases: February 5th, 2019 by Flatiron/Macmillan
This one looks nothing short of magical! Plus, I will read literally anything that has to do with Marie Antoinette! And I’m reading this one with my dear friends Mia & Amy!
➽ How Long ’til Black Future Month?: Stories by N.K. Jemisin 💗
N.K. Jemisin is my favorite author of all time, and there is no way I could let November pass me by without reading this November 27th release! This is a collection of SFF stories that range from dragons after Hurricane Katrina, to a black mother during the Jim Crow, living in the south trying and trying to save her daughter from the fae. I know this is going to be a moving and important collection that will probably make my best of the year list! I don’t know what the world has done to deserve N.K. Jemisin, but I will forever be thankful for her beautiful voice and masterpiece books.
➽ The Winter of the Witch (Winternight Trilogy #3) by Katherine Arden ❄
ARC | Releases: January 9th, 2019 by Del Rey
This is probably going to be my most anticipated release of 2019, and I’m just not ready to say goodbye yet! The other two books in this series have meant so much to me, and they were both nothing short of perfection. I’ve had this ARC for two weeks now, and I don’t know how I haven’t read it yet! Soon, friends, soon!
Okay, friends! Let me know if you have read any of these and what you thought about them! I really am so damn excited to read all eight of these! I hope you are all having a wonderful November first, and I hope you had the happiest of Halloweens yesterday! Happy reading, loves! 🍂✨
